This hand-painted polychrome plate was manufactured in 1994 at De Porceleyne Fles in Delft.

In 1994, this polychrome plate was manufactured at the Porceleyne Fles in Delft. The plate is hand-painted: in the center are trees, flowers and a bird of paradise on a branch. The rim is decorated with a grid pattern and floral motifs. On the back is the mark of De Porceleyne Fles: an apothecary jar with the initials JT intertwined underneath (these stand for Joost Thooft, owner of the company in 1876). Below the bottle is the word ‘Delft’ with a curly capital letter D. On the left are the painter’s initials: MKR (M. C. Krieger), the year code DN (1994) and the model number P.111.
