Around 1940, this hand-painted bowl was made at the Dutch earthenware factory Royal Tichelaar Makkum (Friesland). The dish depicts blue floral and geometric motifs on a white background. At the bottom is the mark of the Tichelaar factory. Above the mark is the model number ‘512’ and to the left of the mark is the painter’s signature.
Interior advice
This bowl fits in both a classic and a modern interior. You can place it for example on a TV cabinet, (side) table, kitchen top or on a bar. You can put fruit, nuts or during holidays, such as Christmas, Christmas balls as decoration in the bowl.
