Interior advice
This Gouda Pottery flowerpot fits in both a classic and a modern interior. You can place it for example on a TV cabinet, (side) table, windowsill or in a bookcase. The height of this pot, 16 cm, makes it perfect for many types of (silk) bouquets or you can place an aloe vera plant in it (see photo).
About ARNHEMSE FAYENCEFABRIEK (1907-1934)
The Arnhemse Fayencefabriek is a continuation of the Pottery Factory Purmerend founded in 1903, which burned down in 1906. The brothers Jacob (1880-1924) and Klaas Vet (1876-1943) subsequently chose Arnhem as their new place of business. It is not entirely clear why they chose this, but Arnhem was at the time a prosperous city with a good infrastructure. The objects that were made in the factory were mostly vases, flowerpots, wall plates, smoke and liquor sets and occasional pottery (souvenirs). Because the Fayencefabriek Arnhem had a large oven capacity, the factory also baked on behalf of other plate makers in the Netherlands. In 1934 the factory closed its doors
