This Delft Blue vase was manufactured in 1972 at the Porceleyne Fles (Royal Delft) in Delft. The vase is hand-painted: floral motifs are depicted on the front and back. At the bottom is the mark of De Porceleyne Fles: an apothecary jar with the initials JT intertwined below (these stand for Joost Thooft, owner of the company in 1876). Below the bottle is the word ‘Delft’ with a curly capital D. On the left side are the initials of the painter: G. KO (Mr. G. Koolhaas), the year code CR (1972) and the model number 1641.
