In 1996, this bonbonnière was manufactured at the Porceleyne Fles (Royal Delft) in Delft. The bonbonnière is hand-painted: it features flowers and geometric motifs. At the bottom is the mark of De Porceleyne Fles: an apothecary jar with the initials JT intertwined below (these stand for Joost Thooft, owner of the company in 1876). Below the bottle is the word ‘Delft’ with a cursive capital D. On the left side are the painter’s initials CHO (mecr. C. Hoffmann), the year code DP (1996) and the model number 1017.
