The plate is hand-painted: floral and geometric motifs are depicted, both on the rim and in the circle located centrally on the plate. At the bottom is the mark of De Porceleyne Fles: an apothecary jar with the initials JT intertwined underneath (these stand for Joost Thooft, owner of the company in 1876). Below the bottle is the word Delft with a curly capital letter D. On the left are the painter’s initials: AAN (A. D. v.d. Antoons), the year code CR (1972) and the model number (2250).

This Delft Blue plate fits both a classic and a modern interior. For example, you can place it on a TV cabinet or in a bookcase. In addition, the plate can also be hung on the wall since there is a wire present at the back.
