This Delft Blue lidded vase was manufactured at the Porceleyne Fles in Delft in 1989. The vase is hand-painted: the vase depicts flowers and the vase features a blue-painted lion. At the bottom is the mark of De Porceleyne Fles: an apothecary jar with the initials JT standing for Joost Thooft, owner of the company in 1876) intertwined underneath. Below the bottle is the word ‘Delft’ with a cursive capital D. On the left side are the painter’s initials: RKO, the year code DI (1989) and the model number 3021.
