This Delft Blue jug was manufactured in 1996 at the Porceleyne Fles (Royal Delft) in Delft. The pouring jug is hand painted: flowers are depicted on the jug. At the bottom is the mark of De Porceleyne Fles: an apothecary jar with the initials JT intertwined underneath (these stand for Joost Thooft, owner of the company in 1876). Below the bottle is the word ‘Delft’ with a curly capital letter D. On the left are the painter’s initials CHA (C. Hartman), the year code DP (1996) and the model number 5018.
