Vintage West Germany Vase Ruscha ‘823 01’

Around 1970, this West Germany vase was manufactured in Germany at the Ruscha factory. The jug consists of different colors of brown. At the bottom of the jug is the model number ‘823 01’

About West Germany (Ruscha)
A West Germany vase/jar is (almost) always made in Germany. Under the name West Germany there are about thirty different brands such as Scheurich, Bay, Jasba, Carstens, Dümler&Breiden and Ruscha. In the 1950s through the 1970s, these brands were incredibly popular. Many vases were therefore produced during this period. A West Germany vase can be recognized by its “bouncy” appearance with a professionally applied glaze.
