Vintage West Germany Jug Sawa ‘324 20’

Around 1960, this West Germany jug was manufactured in Germany. The decor of the jug is called “Sawa Napoli sgrafitto” and consists of different colors such as beige, brown, yellow and blue. At the bottom of the jug is the following: Stein Ceramics and the model number (324) and the height (20 cm.).

Interior advice
This vase fits both a classic and a modern interior. For example, you can place it on a TV cabinet, (side) table, windowsill or in a bookcase. You can also place (silk or dry) flowers in it.

A West Germany vase/jar is (almost) always made in Germany. Under the name West Germany, there are about thirty different brands such as Scheurich, Bay, Jasba, Carstens and Dümler&Breiden. In the 1950s through the 1970s, these brands were incredibly popular. Many vases were therefore produced during this period.
