This hand-painted, colorful Art Deco vase was hand-painted around 1930, presumably in Mons, Belgium. The vase has different colors such as blue, brown, green and light pink. At the bottom of the vase is the model number (779) and the factory mark: C.M. Mons.

About Céramique Mointoise Bergen
Antoine Dubois, Henri and Felix Souweine founded the company in 1920 and it was based in Mons, Mons and Hainaut. The style resembles the plateware from the Gouda factory Plateelbakkerij Zuid Holland. Most of the ceramic objects were manufactured for the Dutch and Belgian market.
