This polychrome plate was hand-painted around 1950 at the Dutch pottery factory Koninklijke Tichelaar Makkum in Friesland. The rim is decorated with flowers and geometric motifs. A bird is depicted in the centre of the plate. On the back of the plate there is a mark of the Tichelaar factory, model number and the signature of the painter.

Interior advice
This polychrome plate fits both classic and modern interiors. You can place it on a TV cabinet or in a bookcase, for example. It can also be hung on the wall as there is iron wire at the back.
