Gouda Pottery Vase ‘Damier’

This small vase was made around 1930 in Gouda. It is hand-painted: on the belly of the little vase are geometrical and floral motifs. This little vase is not entirely round: on the belly there are three ‘dents’. The colours on the neck and belly include: green, blue, yellow, orange, beige and brown. At the bottom it says: model number 202, the decor: DAMIER, X, a house, painter’s signature with underneath ‘Holland Gouda’ and 405.

Interior advice
This little vase fits in both a classical and a modern interior. You can place it for example on a table, on a dresser or in a bookcase.  You can also place it in a terrarium or under a glass bell.
