Around 1930, this brown-colored decanter was made at the Royal Plateelbakkerij Zuid Holland. The decor is hand-painted and in spray glaze; beige and turquoise are present in addition to brown. On the bottom is the following: 9340 B, Muvelee, a cottage, Gouda, Kan – Plazuid, Holland.

About Koninklijke Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland (1898-1965)
The Koninklijke Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland, also known as Plazuid, was founded on 2 April 1898 by the Gouda potter Adrianus Jonker Krijnszoon together with Egbert Estié (1865-1910) from Purmerend. At the beginning of the 20th century Plazuid grows into the largest pottery factory and also the largest employer in Gouda. The factory built up a large assortment of models and decorative motifs that always represented current trends and changes in taste.
