This Delft Blue trumpet vase was manufactured at the Porceleyne Fles (Royal Delft) in Delft in 1990. The vase is hand-painted: floral motifs and flies are depicted on the vase. At the bottom is the mark of De Porceleyne Fles: an apothecary jar with the initials JT intertwined underneath (these stand for Joost Thooft, owner of the company in 1876). Below the bottle is the word ‘Delft’ with a curly capital D. On the left side are the initials of the painter: SDR (Mrs. S. Driessen), the year code DJ (1990) and the model number 3022.
