This Delft Blue vase was manufactured in 1976 at the Porceleyne Fles (Royal Delft) in Delft. This vase is hand painted: flowers and geometric motifs are depicted on the vase. At the bottom is the mark of De Porceleyne Fles: an apothecary jar with the initials JT intertwined underneath (these stand for Joost Thooft, owner of the company in 1876). Below the bottle is the word ‘Delft’ with a curly capital letter D. On the left are the painter’s initials: TSN (T. Snijders), the year code CV (1976) and the model number 1470.
