This Delft Blue jug was manufactured in 1968 at the Porceleyne Fles (Royal Delft) in Delft. The jug is hand-painted: the jug depicts flowers and geometric motifs. At the bottom is the mark of De Porceleyne Fles: an apothecary jar with the initials JT intertwined underneath (these stand for Joost Thooft, owner of the company in 1876). Below the bottle is the word ‘Delft’ with a cursive capital D. On the left side are the initials of the painter: W.PD?, the year code CM (1968) and the model number 423D.
