This Delft Blue trumpet vase was made in 1979 at De Porceleyne Fles (Royal Delft) in Delft. The vase is hand-painted with floral and geometric motifs. The bottom bears the De Porceleyne Fles mark: an apothecary jar with the intertwined initials JT (standing for Joost Thooft, owner of the company in 1876). Underneath the bottle is the word ‘Delft’ with a curly capital D. On the left are the initials of the painter: CHO (Mrs. C Hoffman) and the year code CY (1979).
