This Delft Blue vase was manufactured around 1930 at the Plateelbakkerij RAM in Arnhem. The vase is hand painted: on the vase there are floral motifs and a bird of paradise. The rim is decorated in Art Deco style. At the bottom there is a mark of the pottery (a ram), 145 (model number) and the signature of the painter (M.).

This Delft Blue vase fits both a classic and a modern interior. You can place it for example on a TV cabinet, bar, table, kitchen worktop, windowsill or in a bookcase. The height of this vase, 27 cm, makes it perfect for many types of (silk) bouquets.

About Plateelbakkerij RAM
In 1921 the Plateelbakkerij RAM, named after the constellation, opened its doors in Arnhem. Artist Theo Colenbrander was the founder and also made models for the production. Mainly flora: flower- and plant motives were a popular decor at this factory. Besides Delft Blue, colored earthenware was also manufactured. After 1925 the focus was on the production of tableware and decorative pottery. In 1969 the company closed its doors.
