This Delft Blue plate was manufactured in 1986 at the Porceleyne Fles (Royal Delft) in Delft. The plate is hand painted: there are floral and geometric motifs and in the middle of the plate is a bird. At the bottom is the mark of De Porceleyne Fles: an apothecary jar with the initials JT intertwined below (these stand for Joost Thooft, owner of the company in 1876). Below the bottle is the word ‘Delft’ with a curly capital D. On the left side are the initials of the painter: RE (Mrs. J. de Reuver) and the year code DF (1986).

Interior advice
This Delft Blue plate fits both a classic and a modern interior. For example, you can place it on a TV cabinet or in a bookcase.
