Around 1920-1930 this flower pot was manufactured in Gouda. On the flower pot there are Art Deco shapes that are hand painted: geometric motifs are shown in different colors such as bordeaux, brown, orange, yellow and blue. On the bottom the following is written: 948 (model number), Emmij (decor), a house with ‘AH’ (initials painter) to its right and ‘Gouda Holland’.

About Koninklijke Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland (1898-1965)
The Koninklijke Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland, also known as Plazuid, was founded on 2 April 1898 by the Gouda potter Adrianus Jonker Krijnszoon together with Egbert Estié (1865-1910) from Purmerend. At the beginning of the 20th century Plazuid grows into the largest pottery factory and also the largest employer in Gouda. The factory built up a large assortment of models and decorative motifs that always represented current trends and changes in taste.
