This Delft Blue vase was manufactured in 1987 at the Porceleyne Fles (Royal Delft) in Delft. The vase is hand-painted: floral images and a pheasant are depicted on the vase. At the bottom is the mark of De Porceleyne Fles: an apothecary jar with the initials JT intertwined underneath (these stand for Joost Thooft, owner of the company in 1876). Below the bottle is the word ‘Delft’ with a curly capital letter D. On the left are the painter’s initials: CDB (J. M. de Boer), the year code DG (1987) and the model number 8204.
