This Delft Blue Peacock Plate, also called Fan Plate, was made around 1900. The center of the plate depicts a richly decorated blossom basket, overflowing with fruit and peacock feathers. This was seen in the Netherlands as the back of a peacock which is why this type of plate was nicknamed “peacock plate”. The decor is blue, is hand painted and is on a white glazed background. On the reverse there is a blue mark under the glaze. Presumably this plate is from the Netherlands or France.

Interior advice
This fan plate sign fits in both a classic and a modern interior. For example, you can place it on a TV cabinet, in a bookcase or in a vase (see photo). In addition, this Fan Plate can also be hung on the wall since there is a attachment string present at the back.
